Online Shopping Guide for Beginners

Every Pro was once a novice!

When I first dived into the unknown world of online shopping, I had a high sense of insecurity regarding online transactions. But it all changed with time !  Yes, Indian e-Commerce websites are much more responsible now and so are the banks. Follow our step-by-step guide to acquaint yourself.

1. Feel at home. Online transactions hardly fail and are very secure. First of all apply to your bank for online banking services. Debit/Credit Cards work but Net Banking is safer and more convenient option

2. Read product reviews and website reviews from various sources.

3. Compare product prices on other websites (and also offline if possible) to check if the seller is doing some fraud.

4. Also look for discount coupons for the particular website which will drastically reduce your cost.

5. Keep visiting deals websites like DCom INDIA and others frequently so that you don't miss any good deal because good deals end up very soon and most products become Out of Stock.

6. Always try to use Cash on Delivery option when you are not much sure about the seller.

7. Don't become shopping addict. Never buy a product just because it is being offered at a low price. Just think of its usefulness to you before buying.

8. If you feel cheated and the seller is not replying promptly to you mails and calls, try bugging them on Facebook and Twitter. It really works!
